Check out my customized American Stratocasters. All have Bill Lawrence L500XL P/U's in bridge, and DiMarzio HS-3's (Yngwie Stacked Humbucker) in the neck. These guitars are all awesome. The green one is 1994 40th Ann. model, purple is 1997, and red one is 2007. I have been fortunate enough to work for or teach at a Fender dealership for years, and out of 100's of strats I have played, these are the very best. There have only been 2 others I have played that I liked as much as these, but was not able to purchase them.

They're all beauts, man! Classy! I think I like the '94 the best. I like how some of the knobs match the body/pickguard.

Thanks guys!
I am eventually going to have all purple knobs on the purple and red on the red, they were out of stock. Also there are green ones I can get that would match the green guitar, but they were backordered also. I have gone through a couple phases with these guitars, now they are like I have envisioned.
Maxx, with the Lawrence P/U and DiMarzio's, these are really some mean machines. Are you familiar with the Bill Lawrence? These are the P/U's that were in the Dimabag Darrell guitars, although they were not built for that guitar. I have had a couple since the '80's, just bought a few more. Lots of output, but also really responsive and sensitive to touch.

Apart from Yngwie's cream start w/Mint pickguard, the nicest "strat" I've seen is Scott Henderson's seafoam w/brown tortoiseshell pickguard one.

Very nice man. Interesting how you have exactly the same combination of stuff on them all haha! Thanks man. Yeah, I had the green one set up this way first, and really liked it, so much that I hated switching to the other ones because of change in tone. The purple one is just like the green one, while the red one has TBX tone control and DiMarzio in middle position also. I need to get a custom 5-way switch to wire up some different pick-up combinations for the red one eventually. I also have a beautiful Custom Shop Stratocaster (3 single coil) I would never change, and an older Charvel Jackson with Floyd Rose, nice LP copy, custom-built Explorer style, etc, but these strats are what I use live virually 100% of the time these days. The green one is gorgeous! I'll trade my mini-strat for it? LolThanks Mr Tepes, I actually had a guy offer me $1500.00 for it, claimed he was serious but I was not selling It has the 40th Anniversary Neck Plate and headstock logo. It is just out of the picture.

there crazy guitars how much was the setupIf you figure average retail on the pick-ups, pickguard, knobs and black accessories, plus labor to redo wiring and change out pickguard, probably $300-350.00. Lucky for me I get it all at dealer cost and do the work myself

Cool, Strats are my favorite guitars. It's always cool to see how people add different personalized touches to them! My favorite is the green one.
