Hey Mike, How many years had you been practicing playing guitar when you finally reached your peak regarding the speed at which you can alternate pick basic repeating patterns? How old were you when you reached your peak in terms of being able to play fast and clean and are you just as fast now as you were then, or as you started focusing more on composing than technique, did you possibly lose a little speed?
If I had to guess I would say that when you made the original VHS Speed Kills tape you were as fast as you have ever been, although I don't know for howling you might have already been just as fast.
Finally, approximately how long did you spend learning how to fret notes overhand including very fast repeating patterns, very fast runs, and very fast sweeps all done with your entire hand above the neck rather than the position you normally use? Did it take several hours a day exclusively on overhand fretting, and if so, for how many years until you cold do it as well as you do it on the version of No Boundaries you do on the original Speed Kills VHS?
Thank you very much!
