I need some help to prepare for the next contest for the Street Team. The winning banner is on the MAB Street Team page at my website. I need the html code that would be needed for members to place this banner on forums and make it link to www.angelo.com. Could someone tell me what this code would be? I know nothing about html. I do know I need it in order for the banner to link properly. Thanks for any advice!

I think this is the html (disabled on this and many other boards): <a href="http://www.angelo.com/"> <img src=http://www.midwestentertainers.net/assets/images/BossMorleybanner.jpg ></a> This is the BB code: www.midwestentertainers.net/assets/images/BossMorleybanner.jpg [/IMG][/URL] [URL=http://www.angelo.com][IMG]http://www.midwestentertainers.net/assets/images/BossMorleybanner.jpg [/IMG][/URL]

I used the BB code [code]Code[/codeLEAVETHISOUT] had to cheat it it a bit here But it's BB code and not html. I'll find the html for You This is the html. I only think You'll need the html for html not for BB. Got that ;D <a href="<a href="http://www.angelo.com/%22%3E">http://www.angelo.com/"></a> <img src=http://www.midwestentertainers.net/assets/images/BossMorleybanner.jpg ></a>

<a href="http://www.angelo.com"><img src="http://www.midwestentertainers.net/assets/images/BossMorleybanner.jpg">
I think that is the HTML, though im not sure. BB code in forums would make more sense

Deb... are You preparing for the next contest? Will it be banner posting of forum? then You'll only need the BB code and since it's not html it won't be a problem on Your website! ;D ;D ;D Just re-read Your firts couple of lines, seams like both answers are yes ;D so do'nt worry about html only the BB code

Ok, now all I have to do is figure out how to insert the BB code on my website and we'll be ready for the next contest! I'm sure it won't be as easy as typing it in.

Cut and paste didn't work. It looks correct on my site, but when I preview it before publishing, there is just a white box with no text in it.
My choices are cut/paste in html format, rtf format or plain text. rtf crashes the program in preview mode.
Can I just put the code in as plain text? The point is to give people the code, but don't I have to provide it in a certain format?

I use Net Objects Fusion. It's very different from Front page. All I want to do is provide the code underneath the banner on the street team page. The purpose is so that the members will take the banner and code and post it on other forums so that the banner links to www.angelo.com. I'm thinking I can just type in the code as text. But on all other sites that provide code, I've seen a white box (like notebook) that holds it. I can create that box by using copy/paste in html format, but there's no text in it, nor will it allow me to put any in. Have I confused you enough, or shall I continue? ;D

Deb, Do you have an example of a site that has the example you are giving?
In other words, show me an example of the box with text in it.

Ok Deb, I think I've got it! I assume you want it to look just like this (and yes, I used NetObject to create this page.) www.geocities.com/bkwillard67/mab-banner-test.htmlDo the following: Open the page you want to add this to in NetObjects. In Page design, select the text object (the 'A' on the tool bar) and create a text box where you want this to be on your page. Now select TEXT, from the top menu; and then select 'Insert HTML' A box should open up. Copy the code inside the box below and paste it into the NetObjects 'Insert HTML' box: <textarea name="MAB Banner" rows="5" cols="75"> [URL=http://www.angelo.com] [IMG]http://www.midwestentertainers.net/assets/images/BossMorleybanner.jpg [/IMG] [/URL] </textarea>
Click on OK, and then click the page preview page and marvel at you success!!!! Publish the page as usual, and you should be good to go! If you have any problems, let me know.
