How much money does 1 person need though?
Looking at photos of him in papers and magazines, all he does is spend it on cars he can't drive and clothes which shouldn't be worn by anyone, no matter how famous you are. Lol

It's just buying for buying sake.
It's the equivalent of people spending £2,000 on a guitar when they can't play a note.
He writes off a Ferrari and thinks "No big deal" when millions of people in the world are dying of thirst. It's really tactless IMHO.
Sportsmen need a dose of realism once in a while. A 2-week trip to Sierra Leone should do it.
All sportsmen are overpaid, but he was on ridiculous money at Man Utd so the move to Real (which was definitely for financial reasons, I don't believe for a second a Portuguese kid grows up wanting to play for a Spanish team. It goes against the trend in every other European country) shows a complete lack of class.
Kaka moved to Real Madrid for a mixture of both. His decisions aren't entirely influenced by money since he turned down a move to Man City. Though his holier than thou image doesn't wash with me.

If you won the lotery that you mentioned in this post would you carre about the people that his dying in Africa ?
Yes maybe, but think this way:
Is not C.Ronaldo's fault for the 94 milions that Real Madrid offered.
Is not C.Ronaldo's fault for the Bilions and Trilions and "whateverilions" of kids that love to wear those Nike boots and nike wear, that makes him milionaire just doing publicity.
The guy is very, but bery good playing football. If there are companies that whant to have CR7 our CR9 our other sportsman image in their products and are willing do pay milions for it, the problem are the companies, or maybe the people that I mentioned above, that buy their products.

I mentioned in my initial post giving money to charities I know would use the money.
It's not Ronaldo's fault he is asuch a comercial hit and I think within sport, people should be paid according to how much of an asset to that sport they are. Ronaldo, Messi and Kaka being the 3 highest paid footballers in the world for example.
But, having loads of money doesn't mean Ronaldo has to be the arrogant clasless twat he is. He has always been flash, even before he signed for Man Utd, but the top sportsmen have a responsibility as public figures to behave with class. Ronaldo laughing off a complete write-off of his Ferrari is disgusting IMHO and at the risk of sounding patronising, I think when you're 24 and realise the full value of money you'll agree.
To make things worse, at Man U he could buy a Ferrari every week and have enough to pay off the mortgage.
If he said "I hate the weather in Manchester so would rather play football in a warmer country" then fair enough, but as if he really wanted to play for Madrid, the archetypal "Spanish" team. No Scot would ever say "I want to play for Man Utd" and if Barcelona were the team interested in Ronaldo every season he'd have said "I've always dreamed of playing for Barcelona".
Gandhi said "There's enough in the world for everyone's needs but not not everyone's greed" and there's no other way to describe Ronaldo's move to Madrid other than born out of greed.

Toward gold throng all, To gold cling all, Yes, all!
Isn't the weather in Manchester mostly gruesome ? Figuring out how charities really make use of their donations could be a tricky task, in which way could one be sure ? Ronaldo's an asset, yes, overpaid, that's for sure. Be tamed, forces of the market.
