I was wondering if anyone had the tab for the first minute of the song or the chord shapes. Thanks! ;D

Well if I could find it on a tab site that'd be great but I've looked and I have just learned the first 10 seconds but not much and I need 50 seconds to go so anyone that can help that would be great. I'll put up the tab for what I found so far in a bit

"Gotta Run" was the most popular Holland song, along with "Wake Up the Neighborhood." These are 2 of the songs that I co wrote with singer Tom Holland that were the reason we got signed to Atlantic Records. The song begins in D minor using an open D string and finger style (although using a pick) sounding passages along with the 3rd and 2nd strings. The verse is basically Dmi, F, C, Bb, but I actually use a Bb 6/9 and Bb 6/9 moving the 5th of the chord down to the flatted 5th. If someone can TAB "Gotta Run" out, I will look it over and do any alterations necessary to make it exactly like the I way I performed it live and on record. I was always very proud of the music we wrote in "Holland." Thanks!

Thanks for the input MAB! I'm particularly interested in learning the extended clean intro that was played in some live versions of the song.
I've figured out a portion of it but it's tricky tabbing out the timing to some of it, maybe I can give it a shot. Nobody probably knows what I'm talking about but it's a friggin' cool opener for the song.

The "cool" thing about playing "Eye of the Tiger" with Jim is that he is the man that wrote the song "Eye of the Tiger" and was in the band "Survivor." Jim also wrote the 60's classic "Vehicle" as well as "Hold On Loosely" and "So Caught Up In You" recorded by "38 Special." He has a list of hit songs in his catalog.

Hey guys, just wanted to give an update on my progress of the 'extended' gotta run intro.. you probably won't hear this on any album, I've figured out how to play it from a few live videos & memory... it's not exact but it sounds really close. I screwed up the timing between measures 14 through 17. Measure 20 starts the cool 'western' sounding lick. There's an abrupt change in measure 28 because theres a few D based chords that are supposed to go inbetween there, but I just skipped to the next section.. I tabbed out some of the album intro too but it's getting late and I've got work in the morning, please listen to it and let me know your thoughts. I attached a Guitar Pro file of the tab. Don't forget to tune your guitar down a half step to play along with it. Attachments:

I just made a standard Tuning full tab (Guitar, Bass, Drums) of this version of Gotta run
But it still need some fixing (I think is 98% ok). I can't make it any better, but I'm sure someone can fix it.
It's ok if I post here a full Holland song? The rules says "full MAB songs except the DVD ones", but I'm not sure if i can post a full co-wroted song.
(P.S.: I don't know if my english is ok, I'm from Chile)
Please, somebody answer, I really want to share this tab.

Here is it! www.4shared.com/file/UnGLe17i/Holland_-_Gotta_run.htmlThings to repair: -Guitar Intro (there are some notes missing, but is cool enough to play it) -Guitar Solo (the end is too fast to me, so I just wrote something cool that ends in the same note) - Others instruments (I don't play drums and bass, so I just wrote what I think is ok)
