Who loves me? I'd ideally want it to be on Flame Maple and more of a Navy to Sky Blue contrast but this will do for now... The blue on quilt reminds me of the Barbados villa I (don't) own. - Steve

This actually gives me a chance to ask you Steve, since I know you will know, or BKW, how do you put the post you are quoting in a reply so it looks like the post, like BKW's above, and not some substitute like I have written above? Thanks in advance!

I'd settle for that! Lol. For pure aesthetics, the Dean Solteros destroy the Gibson LP, ESP Eclipse & PRS Singlecut imo. Incidently, Dean Zelinsky's new company, DBZ guitars have the "Bolero" (how the hell did he think of that name?!) which is identical barring the headstock to the Dean: www.dbzguitars.com/guitars/electric-guitar/bolero/fmI prefer the Dean hs tbh.

@ Erik- I found it on Dean Johnson's Music Inc site: www.singnplay.com/deanusa.php . Price tag, as listed on the site is $2,249 which for a USA made Dean is peanuts. Some Ibanez RG Prestiges can reach that price bracket. @ Raj- I've always liked the look of the singlecut Les Paul shape but being only 22 frets is a big problem for me which is the only reason I don't have a LP shape as a main guitar (wouldn't buy a Gibson though). The Eclipse II (Vintage Black) is a great guitar. It doesn't have a typically "Gibson LP" due to the EMG's, which isn't necessarily a problem. The playability is as easy as Ibanez RG's & it's a striking guitar with the matt black finish. Andy James has that as his main guitar with Sacred Mother Tongue.

You could check out an older ESP model called the KH-503. There's a LTD version of it too. It was a Kirk Hammett signature model that was Les Paul shaped with 24 frets. It's not made anymore but you can probably find them floating around used sites or auction sites.

I remember he had a sig model- the KH-3 (which had a yellow spider on a web graphik). He still uses it live I believe.
I don't like rosewood boards or Floyd bridges but the main problem is that I don't think I can bring myself to buy anything associated with Kirk Hammett. Lol.
