Is it alright to play ipod through guitar proc.?

I have a digitech 2120. Going through poweramp, wireless, ect. Basically what I have is an adapter that plugs the instrument cable into the female end and the male end is a headphone jack. I plug that into my ipod. The female end is on the wireless transmitter. and It plays my music through my processor and speakers. Is this bad? It doesn't clip and i can tweak the settings and stuff. It's really cool but is it bad?

Nah man it's fine. I used to do that in the old school days with a tape player.

Alright thanks the only thing I changed is i put a guitar cable through the 2120 instead of the wireless, those transmitters are battery hoggers lol
