Hey guy's! After selling my pod HD 500 (because it's a thin and bassy at-the-same-time crappy piece of tuuuut IMO) I got me an eleven rack, without alot of tweaking i got a great sound in a few minuts! I'm going to do some recordings with it soon. In the mean while here is another solo i did. www.speedyshare.com/files/30973191/bijnaklaar.wmaMy solo starts @ 0.23 (this is just a part of a song) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ow and a few months ago i started writing a song for the first time in my life lol. www.speedyshare.com/files/30973299/Firstsong_mixdownmp.mp3I spend alot of time with the keyboard for the final part because i CAN'T play it, i had to record alot of notes individualy, lol i know it's cheap but since i don't play keyboard i think it's legal. Everything is recorded and played true my podx3 and gear that was used was -Korg wfd 01 -Ibanez universe Drums are played on keyboard. Pls tell me what u think, i still has to work on it but i'm not sure if i will.

Thxs for commenting guys! I bought the 11R 28/10 when did u get yours? You got beaten with one day then ;D I really like it so far, sounds great for "shred", the SLO and JCM sims works great for that, I haven't done much with the "old man amps" yet but they seem to sound really good also.

No I bought mine used and it didn't have it. If I like the unit enough I will get it. Having owned a Soldano Avenger I have to say that the Soldano Lead simulator is very accurate, by far the most accurate simulation I've ever tried, I haven't tried the Axe Fx yet tho. It will never be exactly as a good tube amp but I don't expect it to be either. So far I'm very happy with it. What monitors do you use? I'm looking for some monitors right now, it's hard to know what to get when you have a limited budget

Hi, yes I still have and I like it. But I haven't played much guitar lately I've been busy building pedals ;D I've basically only used the Fender sim's lately to try out the pedals... I will install your preset as soon as I have installed the Pro Tools that comes with the unit, I think you need to have that to install the presets if I'm not mistaken? I will definitely keep the 11R and buy the expansion pack. I'm thinking of building a poweramp for it since I can't find any good poweramps here in Sweden that I can afford. Mesa and Fryette are too expensive for me at the moment. As far as monitors go, thats also unsolved, that one is a little bit trickier because I don't know anything about monitors. Have you tried any?

Hey, Yes u need to install protools for running presets. And as far as the exp pack goes: I bought mine and didn't get the exp pack with it, but then i found out they ship the 11R WITH the exp pack for free now! So i've send an email to avid asking if i could get the exp pack for free since i just bought it. And yep! got it for free ;-)! So be sure to send them an email! I ran my 11R true a mesa poweramp of a friend of mine and it sounded pretty good for a modeler! Not bad at all!
For the monitors: I heard good things about the Yamaha HS80m. So i might check it out soon!
