So i got my 1st tube amp yesterday ( Burgera 6260 212 120w) So could you give me any instructions how to use it/maintaine it well. How should i use the standby switch etc... All help is appriciated. Congrats on the new amp. Tube amps are great, but require care and feeding. Since you specifically asked about the standby switch, that is one of the key controls on a tube amp. Stand-by allows the amp to be on, but no input is sent to the amp. Anytime you turn the amp on or off, it should be in 'Stand-by' mode. With that said, any time you unplug the cable (examples unplug the guitar, add or remove anything from the signal chain ...ie pedals) put the amp in Stand-by to protect the amp from signal spikes that can damage the amplifier. Don't turn the amp off, just put it in Stand-by mode. Also, tubes sound best when they are 'Warm'. So unlike a SS (Solid State) where you can turn it on and it is ready to go in 5 seconds, tubes take some time to warm up. And they sound better after they have been on for a while (at least 15 minutes). Turn the amp on but set it to stand-by during this period.

Also try not to move a hot amp into the extrem cold, I cracked a few tubes one time after playing on it for a few hours. Have fun with the amp!

Everything regarding maintenance should be in the manual

I have tried to put everything on max, i have also tried the clean channel. Could it be that a tube or 2 have broke? But i dont understand how that can happen only after 2 weeks of playing.

I would suggest you return it.
I had heard that Burgera's have had a LOT of quality issues. Though, I had heard they have gotten better. You may have one of the older ones (even though you just bought it new) or a lemon.
