I just got this last Monday, I haven't made a thread about it yet so I thought I might as well I just joined the Double-Guitar club These pictures were taken the first day I got it - I've taken the stickers off the pick-ups since then. I made the video the second day I had it (I will post more in the future when I've had more practice with it). I can already do some really cool things with it but I want to develop a little more on it. I have been practicing playing with 2 hands in sync on one right handed guitar neck for months in preparation, so I have sort of had a head start with learning how to play this! The custom paint job was my idea. Hope you guys dig it.

Holysh*t that's awesome, so how many kidneys you had to sell in order to afford that? Just joking... lol... But i am curious how much it cost?
Also i am looking forward of seeing more videos when you have gotten your chops down with the double \m/ (o.o ) \m/

I can't say anything specific about the price, all I can say is that it cost a few arms and legs... (Hey, how am I supposed to play this without arms??) Just think of the price of 2 really really nice guitars plus a custom heavy duty case . Also, both guitars have an official floyd rose tremelo system, I just didn't have the arms screwed on in the pics or video. So that factors into the price as well.

Really awesome Nick! Is the finish called Cherry Burst or what?! I like Red guitars not many people I know do. You definitely have a unique guitar(s) on a more humorous note (and not that I was looking) but I couldn't help but notice you were in the bathroom, and the guitar is perfectly made so you don't have to take it off to take a wizz (practice X 3 personified?!) please DON'T make a video of you playing both while doing that, impressive as it might be, I think I speak for everyone here, we really don't need that uploaded, at least on this forum ;D Congrats again! You Rock!

Haha using a guitar with 2 appendages is enough for me! I think doing what you suggested would bring a whole new meaning to the term "*** rock" I just call the finish a "red burst". It is a really bright awesome looking red, pictures don't do it enough justice. Maybe you could call it a blood red - but not dark blood red... the color they used to make blood in cheesy horror movies in the 70's and early 80's where it was really bright. The guitar is big so it's hard to take a picture with it by myself, the bathroom had a big enough mirror for it I plan on posting a new video soon - I am really surprising myself with what I can do with this thing already. Michael described the double as playing a right handed piano and a left handed piano at the same time - I think I can make one more addition to that analogy. It's somewhat like playing 6 rows of pianos on each hand. It is a bit strange at first playing with different fingers on different strings at the same time, but it is really cool. For example I could be playing a melody and harmony line at the same time using different hands and being on different strings - although it is much easier to be on the same string with both hands at the same time, there isn't a limit to what is possible as far as where your hands are.

I'm sure I could get used to playing both necks at the same time after a while. The huge problem I would have though, is trying to play true left handed on it. Other than being my fret hand when playing guitar and typing on a keyboard, my left hand is pretty useless lol. I can't write, throw worth a damn or do anything important that my right hand can do. I have tried picking with it and it was a pretty sad sight indeed.
