Months of hard work, i hope some people like it :-) And it would help me in a way if u could all share this/like if u want!
I do guestsolo's fun, and i like to thank MAB for motivating me to keep on playing! I would have never took guitar seriously if it wasn't for him.

I think it could have had a bit more rhythmic variation, but overall I LOVE IT! Great harmony parts!
Btw, how do you like the RG3XXV?

Hey thxs, The thing is that its and outro part of a song, so its really hard to play more than 2 min in the same backingtrack with no keychanges. I wish there was more variation, but overall im happy with the solo itself . About the rg, its a Nice guitar, its build quality does lack on the brige edges on the neck, it was real Sharp! But i played it so much that its smooth now:-) Further on i changed the d activator to a at1. The edge zero is great, but the pickups wiring was a discrase. I opened it up to find a real mess!

Cool, which model did you use on the 11R? I used the soldano slo with a tubescreamer + eq, some delay and a tat reverb. I actually made a better tone with the marshall emulation, but it's for the next solo

Best amp I've had for leads was the Soldano Avenger, which has the same preamp as the SLO. I peculiar thing about the 11R was when I had it, my favorite simulation was actually the rectifier and in real life the Mesa rectifiers are the amp I like the least of all the sims available in the 11R

Haha, yea that's the thing with amp sims. I thought that the mesa mark would sound awesome! But instead it sounded aweful! The way i look at ampsims now is, whatever sounds best, sounds best :-)
I recommended the 11R to a friend, and he loves the mesa rectifier sim the most.

To be honest I actually think the Mark II sim was one of the more accurate on the 11R. That amp doesn't sound good without a lot of tweaking. None of the Mark series does (I'm excluding the V because I've never tried it). "Whatever sounds best is the best" thats my motto for everything. If it works it works, some piece of gear might be *** for one player and totally amazing for another. This reminds me why I have practically stopped care for new products. I feel that everything I need is already out there. The amp simulation thing is something I'm not that into. I feel that the development of amp sims just gets better and better quite fast. I'll wait until it slows down a bit.

I agree with what u are saying about ampsims, i have a love hate relation with them all the time, nothing beats real tube sound. However i can't deny the benefits of playing on a low volume and be able to record with ease thanks to a modeler.
