Since most people don't use their real names here, it's impossible for me to tell how many guitarists who are at least somewhat well known have shown enough support to Michael to actually join his forum and post here? Are there any that you know of that are here posting under an alias?
The only guitarist I know of who has been written about in Guitar World (listed as fastest alternate picker in the world), and has an album out that is available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes and has shown the kind of support for MAB to join here and post here is Dannyjoe Carter. He uses his real name as his screen name so I'm sure plenty of you are aware he is a member here but I'm wondering who else is there who, like Dannyjoe Carter, is a well known guitarist, especially well known since Guitar World wrote an article where they listed him as the fastest alternate picker in the world (which was proven by a poster here named Willjay) and also since the release of Dannyjoe's recent album titled "Dannyjoe Carter - The Collection."
Is Rusty Cooley a member here and if so does he ever post? Are any of the guests on Intermezzo people who post here?
Anyway, I'm curious about who else is posting here who is a famous or at least somewhat well known guitarist who posts here. If any of you happen to know if there are some, but are using aliases for there screen names, I'd be curious to know who they are. It would be interesting to know which other of MAB's peers besides Dannyjoe Carter are showing support for MAB by being a member of this forum and taking time to post here. I think it's pretty cool, and although I can't speak for MAB, it's a well known saying that the most valued compliments a musician receives are the ones who come from his peers. It makes sense. If I were a jazz fusion guitarist and some random fan sent me a letter saying I'm great, I'd appreciate it, but if John McLaughlin told me I'm great that would be a much more valuable compliment as far as I'm concerned.
