MAB will be performing in a few weeks on the "Monsters of Rock Cruise (East)" I know of a few people who are going on this (including me and Maxxx [who will also be performing with his band]). Around forty bands with a fair amount of Dean Artists. Also a pre-cruise concert with Brian Ticchi's Rush tribute band "Hurry" and Great White is doing an Acoustic set on the NCL private Island. Anyone else going (there is still a few cabins available... nudge nudge, hint hint). monstersofrockcruise.com/east/the-bands/

I would love to be on that ship. Unfortunately I am not able to go. Have seen several of the bands live, and they were all great. There are several I would like to see live that are in the line up. Have a good time and safe travels.

That would definitely be a once in a lifetime cruise. Flew down with Chips Z'Nuff. Him and Kate are getting married on the cruise in a couple days. Winger was great! Saigon Kick also put on a really good show! Hurry (Rush tribute super-group) had some amazing players (Sebastian Bach, Steve Vai, members of Testla, etc). We had a great time after the show hanging out with a member of Faster Pussycat and Eddie Trunk for a few hours. Boarding the ship in a few hours... I'll post more when we get back.

So much awesomeness from the cruise!!!! Hear are just a few highlights:
Hanging out with Eddie Trunk and Don Jamieson Having Dinner with George Lynch (who also bought me a drink) and talking guitars and amplifiers. Also at the table was Mark Weiss (famous rock photographer) Playing a song on the the cruise with Steve Vai sitting in the back of the room Being back stage for Chip & Kate (from E'nuff Znuff) wedding with Sebastian Bach and Steve Vai as groomsmen Not to mention watching and hanging out with all the great bands who were there.
It was EPIC beyond belief!!!!!

Thanks for the update, BKW. What a great experience to hang out with so many great people. I have seen a few photos on Facebook, happy, smiley faces. It must have been so much fun. Did you get to see the Vinnie Moore band? I have been listening to his new album and love it. Would like to see Vinnie play sometime. Hopefully Dean Guitars can bring MAB, Vinnie, Uli etc over to England sometime in the future.

They played on the Pool Stage one afternoon and Elliott (owner of Dean Guitars), John Palumbo (Head of Artists relations & Marketing for Dean), MAB & myself watched his set. They even raffled off a "Minds Eye" guitar at the end of the set.
