Hello Michael, How did you get that long sustain in your playing ? , by the way what amazing CD "No Boundaries" and this is what i meant in all this songs you have a super nice tone but what i really like is the way you sustain the notes, i know those are tones from your fingers but the delay and the ts-9 plays a good role on this, can you tell me the settings on the delay and on the ts-9 please, by the way warm regards man Thanks

Hi Ernesto. It was great seeing you again and meeting your son. I set the TS 9 on the maximum settings for the overdrive and volume and about 1/3 of the way up on the tone. The amp overdrive is set very low. The TS 9 makes up for it while not being overly distorted or "muddy". The delay setting is approximately 300 ms with only 1 to 2 repeats. The secret is in my vibrato and striking the note extremely hard. For those of you who have not seen me perform live, I play a Blues track and sustain 1 note for over 40 seconds that is in key with the song.

Ernesto, the TS 9 is "stock". No modifications are done to the pedal. They are great just the way they are!

Mike You're playing an original or "vintage" TS9, I guess You have also tried the reissues. Are there any difference between the old and the new?

Michael, what kind of a delay effect do you use? I am almost sure it is a Boss DD-3

Ernesto, you are close but it is a DD-6. The DD-6 is a mono and stereo delay. I use the mono send and returns.
