Hey there again.
Is there any one that knows any exercises to speed up the left hand (If you play righthanded) ?
Sorry about my english. It's very bad.
Thanks

A good way to build left hand speed is practicing legato/hammer on & pull off licks. If I remember correctly they had some good lessons on www.chopsfromhell.com

metronome I found a metronome to be abosolutely useless to me. I tried it out for about a month and i never got anywhere with it. I can move pretty quick on the guitar (i dont know exactly) but i can assure you i managed to get fast without a metronome. I know other people seem to think they are the best thing but they have just never worked with me. Chopsfromhell website is really good, it has good riffs to practice for speed. There is one there which is taken from a yngwie malmsteen song which i like to play all the time.

Well, the useful thing about using a metronome is you know for certain that your speed is consistant throughout the entire passage or exercise that you're playing. And I enjoy the fact that you can literally see your speed increasing each week, it gives me a sense of achievement and motivates me to keep doing it. But I guess they aren't for everyone, they can actually be offputting sometimes. I could never practice as well with a metronome on my cello, but then I wasn't working on speed particularly.

I know the metronome isn't really a means of getting better, its just a tool to help you get there. In my personal opinion, the only way to play quickly, cleanly and exactly on time is to practice with a metronome.

Buy star licks video about MAB master session the first exercice is very good to have synchronisation right hand and left hand and then begin the exercice slowly to speed at the end. The second to the fifth exercices develop all the fingers and synchronise right and left hand. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
