My old USA Deans all feel different, you could custom order anything at the time. Some are big, some are slick, some are V shaped (my fav). My New USA Deans, Time Capsules and the Water V, all have V shaped necks. Very comfortable and fast. The binding on the edge of the fretboard is rolled, so it feels like an old well played guitar.
The Hardtail (I don't have one) has a rounder neck, but I talked to Dean the other dday and he's thinking of putting them out with a V shaped neck. I played a prototype Hardtail with the V neck and it RoCked!!
The Dean '79 series imports (I don't have one) have great feeling necks too, but very different from the USA ones, they're wide and kind of thin with a rounded back.

I've only owned, and played a Dean ML, so I can't really say about the others. I do like the sound of the name Dean "Hollywood" though.

It's a trick picture... you have to stare at it for three or four days before you can see the guitar.
P.S. I've got #11 of 25 and it rocks!
