This Dean is authentic because I've seen this model serveral times and I spent a few minutes look at this and it truly is a Dean.Reminds me alot of my friends first guitar a Arbor LOL for a super non-mainstreamed guitar it's actually quite decent and looks exactly like that just with a somewhat changed contour of a Ibanez.

The new one has similaryties with the ESP Horizon. BTW I think that Jackson also sued ESP for the pointy, like Gibson did'em with the banana

ESP are better than Jackson But the two companys IMO have always been similar

They are not very similar... Jackon started when Grover Jackson saved Wayne Charvels custom shop from bankruptcy. ESP started by builing guitars for the big name companys (often cheaper in Japan).
Charvel/Jackson is the 80's. ESP is the 90's.

I think its stupid when companies sue other companies for *** like having similar headstocks. Its not as though its going to make any difference to anything. And btw, i did actually mea the new one reminded me of ESPs, not the old one. The old one looks more like a jackson or something.
