If you dont answer, the bunny gets it!!!Ok maybe not but anyway, which amps do you own and what do you use most. I own a yamaha whatever, it came with my yamaha EG-122 guitar. I never use it, but i may start using it again. The amp i use is a behringer Vampire combo, and let me tell you, its a GREAT amp. Lots of different amp models and built in effects.

I have Line6 Flextone II+, it's in a friends homestudio... At home I run my Lexicon MPX G2 straight to the soundcard... not too bad I used to have a Laney GH50L into a Hûghes&Kettner 4x12" cab. I liked the amp but not the cab. Didn't use it and didn't have room for it so I let it go.

I got a hut out in my back garden to make as a band rehersal room (if i ever get a band!). All thats in it is alot of mics, drumkit, vocal effects and the yamaha amp The guitar i bought from ebay (the "early kirk hammett one" according to you ) is gonna go into my hut along with an acoustic my dad bought. This is my 100th post ;D

Congrats on turning 100 ;D Gonna be great with that hut, You can later turn it in to a little studio... computer based recording is rather cheap nowadays My friend studio is Mac based with Protools LE, A couple of nice synths and electronic drumset, a nice mic preamp a few mics, my amp, my little behringer mixer etc... I've set it up for him and maintains it, and ones in a while help I help him with some stuff. Right now I'm setting up another Protools system (PC) for some other friends in their rehearselroom. I used to have my own studio so this is fun

Doesn't need to be that big... I know, but its hard to soundproof a hut compared to a room in a house. I put carpet (well my big sisters boyfriend did) on the floor inside. Hopefully i can get come carpet around the walls and then it should be pretty good at keeping sound in. And hopefully the drums will sound better.

Vox AD30VT, I think it's fab, but well, I don't know much about amps or anything. I do know I like some of the noises I'm managing to get out of it recently

I have a Crate Blue Voodoo BV-120H running to a Sonic 4X12 cab. I don't like the cab, but i love the amp. I love the amp's distortion for leads, but rhythm, eh, could be better, so i run some pedals for rhythm.
I also have a Fender Princton Chorus 210 combo. This amp is real nice for leads with no extra hum, the distortion is very clean.

I use a Line 6 Spider II Combo , then I send it through my Digi-tech GNX3 and soon through my Computer as soon as a get Some good Midi cables(planetwaves of course)
The Spider really has alot of great feature it comes with 4 Channels Blues,Crunch,Metal,INSANE also with a Built in Overdrive and Noise Gate. A series of effects that I really don't use because of the GNX3 but the effects stands well of on it's own. The Crunch is probble the best setting it simulates a Plexi Marshall and that says it all ;D

Peavey Rage 158 (about as bad as SS small combos get) but I use a GNX3 w/ it so its alright Marshall MS2 (the belt clip one) and my main amp Peavey Prowler - 45 all tube, active eq- basically a slightly lower gain, smaller XXX combo.

For gigging i use a Mesa/Boogie triple rectifier cabinet, but for home practice I use a Line 6 Spider II 212 combo. I was quite surprised at my line 6 cause it sounds actually not too bad and it can get a very decent noise level out of it, how ever when I am trying to get a heavy thrash type sound it takes time to get the bass just right. For some reason the bass setting is just really really wierd.

my amps are pretty weak... on my stack i use an MG100HDFX with a line6 uber metal pedal in front of it (amp gain ***s).. through a Legion 4x12.. offbrand.. i'm poor. the cab sounds ok, lots of lowend to it. at home i use a little 15w crate, pretty mediocre as far as tone. but anyways, over the summer i will be able to work more hours with no school, so im saving for a Peavey XXX, or perhaps a 6505 plus (haven't played one yet, but i've heard good things.) and a new cab.

I am just using a Spyder II amp for practice. I haven't played out in years and my Laney stack has been long gone. I do mostly computer recording stuff now.

When I'm home I use behringer Ultraroc GX110 with V-Amp 2. The sound is good enough for practicing. GX110 was my first amp.. When I got it I thought that it was great.. but these days I wont play it without any pedals.. The distortion is awful.
For gigs and band praccys I use a Laney TF320, which I kinda like. It has many different distortions and it's not too quiet either. The clean channel is not too good, but I dislike the sound of a clean electric guitar anyway.. I'd prefer to use an acoustic guitar for those parts.

I use a Spider II 212 combo, I think it's a pretty good amp and I get my distortion through a Line 6 Uber-Metal pedal. Sounds pretty good to me. Good enough for my ears anyway!!!! ;D

I have a tube amp : Laney VC30, and I am very satisfied!
The clean canal is wonderful = the sound is magnificent, very "hot". The disto canal is very good, but I use a RAT pedal to boost the amp.
I can say that, for 30W, this amp is very very very powerful... I played with it in a concert with about 60-70 persons, and the volume was on 5/10!!! My god, the power is amazing.

if you think yer poor or have ***y amps....heh.....in my room i have a crate mx15r (15watts rofl) and at practice i use a 65W 12" Fender princeton.....it sounds pretty horrible with my rp200...but it gets rid of the extremely loud fuzz u get with the natural tone. thats why im looking around at bigger stuff like www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/fg=101/g=guitar/search/detail/base_pid/480332/how i'll be able to afford it...no idea
