I have a marshall AVT20X as my main amp at the moment.
I do have a rare Peterson 100w amp , they used to be made in norfolk in England , the pots are crackly at the moment as it has not been used a lot and was in storage for a while. it is not very large, but is very heavy and has loads of headroom for clean playing.
I would like a blackstar HT-5 I played one in my local store and it sounded great.

Too bad the video expired, codyb. I was looking forward to seeing the construction of your creation. Do you use the preamp gains in similar or different ways between your Crate and Peavy? And is the Herse a straight power amp or does it have a preamp? It would be interesting to hear the tones.

Then I got a Peavy Standard.

My current set up is a Roland JC120 and a boss GT10 for the tonal variations. I use my processor for the different sounds and run my amp clean. I like most of the sounds I get. Some people say the GT10 is not good for heavier sounds. I disagree. You just have to find the right preamp emulation and eq it right.

Right now... just starting to get back into playing... I only have a Fender Mustang 1v2... it is 20 watts, but, pretty darn impressive little thing, lol.
