Blondie, do you have Norton Anti-Virus? I have that too and it came up with the same thing, how ever I believe thourghly that its not a trojan, its just NA being a little bitch and being afraid of one file. Its happened before, I searched on the pc and got rid of it but it done none of the things that a trojan does i.e spam my pc with another thousand viruses. Lol IMO norton is sometimes a bit TOO safe lol

Norton is evil - be really careful if you ever uninstall it. It can do the same thing some versions of Kazaa does on uninstall, which is totally destroy your internet settings. It does something to your IP address, and it's impossible to renew it. Happened to me with Kazaa, I had to completely format my PC before I could get back online. Engineers from my ISP came out to my house and had no idea how to fix it., and Norton did the exact same thing to a friend of mine. I'm pretty sure it's not actually a trojan - I've opened that page on the university computers, which screamed at you for anything*remotely* dodgy and never had issues with it. What it does though is suddenly hog all of your PC's RAM which I suppose Norton picks up as being hostile and thinks it's a trojan?

You remember my friend Skeebz who joined the forum a month ago, well I asked him about the thing with the trojan and he says that its not a trojan because if it was then my pc would be blown up by now lol cause I opened the thing about 100 times and literally nothing happened. Succubus you are probably right, Nortan seems to think that normal things that happens to a computer are evil lol.

Sometimes, you are better safe than sorry! The reason your Kazaa may have messed up your settings is because it installs 4,343430873241 pounds of adware and spyware all over your machine. Kazaa Lite was great because it was a build without all of that. Kinda hard to find anymore though. At one time it was on www.oldversion.com/ but they had to take it off. I have a copy of it for safe keeping, but I havent used it in ages.

Hehe everybody says that, but actually it was Kazaa Lite that did it! I never had trouble with the full version. I won't go near it any more anyway... it's evil

Hey guys never veen a big fan of tobacco but I used to smoke weed until it started making me really paranoid, lathargic and generally f*cked up my brain. I remember at one time being so paranoid that I actually planned a total escape route start to finish of my house incase the police came round (which I were insistent they were). For any prospective stoners, don't bother, it not only eventually depresses the hell out of you but it also makes you talk total *** 24/7 as well as doing your memory no good.
The only thing worse than weed, is Norton which zapped about 90% of my CPU and als totally screwed my computer when I decided to uninstall it.

Hehe, well it was 2 years ago so it might well have been fixed by now. The exact same thing happened to my boyfriend like a week before - he said it was because of Kazaa and I though "naaah it can't be, I'll uninstall it anyway..." BIG mistake that was I'm still too scared to ever install Kazaa again though, heh.

I have a friend who works in a software development company. They were testing the product one day and found that a programmer had made a minor mistake confusing a relative path for an absolute path and whenever the action was peformed it would erase everything the system would let it erase immediately :-P

Kazaa Lite Ressurection has no spyware or adware. I use that sometimes and I have run norton to see if any is picked up but no SW or AW has been found.
