Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and since most of us here seem to enjoy shred a lot, I hope you don't mind listening to a bit of my playing ;D www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=704455&songID=5625622This is a cover of Yngwie's I'll See the Light, Tonight I recently did, just for fun. Being the slop monster I am, don't expect the best

Holy fart! yes far from perfect, but better than a host of others I've heard on the internet. ... yes, tightening of loose ends must be done, but you pick that stuff like you mean it! With a good, less than super saturated tone as well. Good definition of those notes, def sounds like you're getting somewhere with your chops, and your tone is pretty friggin' swell I must say. Glad to see yet another person with guts to throw his playing out there, welcome to the forum!

Thanks!
I agree with the rhythm not being tight enough, first of all my playing's not all that good (lol) and the amp itself sounds kinda spread out (it's only a VOX DA5, not quite the tightest thing on earth although its tones are quite useable) ;D

The playing and notes are rather clean...the timing and bends are what needs work. But was definately enjoyable to listen to, I'm a fan of the rhythm tone, and its one of the best covers I've heard. (It would be fully acceptable live...)
