:-XHey guys, My name is David Bennett, I'm from Wellington, New Zealand and I create music under the name "White Island". My sound is based in heavy rock, withy catchy sing-a-long choruses, highly emotional lyrics, and technically advanced lead guitar work. I've been playing guitar for over 21 years, and the work on my recently completed album (entitled "Songs Of Love, Hate, Hope & Despair") is all my own, from guitar/bass/sequencer programming/vocals through production and engineering. Stop by and check the songs out at: www.myspace.com/whiteislandmusicIf you are short on time, at least check out the guitar solo on "Fool For A Teacher" which begins at 2:43 - if this is not one of the cleanest, fastest, aggressive pieces of playing you've heard this year I'll eat my axe! Cheers,

Nothing wrong with a bit of self promtion round here jsut make sure you comment on other peoples music too!
As for your music, i checked out fool for a teacher, the vocals wernt relaly my thing so didnt enjoy the majority of the song, the riffs were pretty cool though. I think it definitly couldve benefited from a stronger vocalist. The solo, was pretty cool, but it wasnt the fastets ive ehard this year haha! I felt it couldve been better though, it was jsut one scale run really up and down, it couldve benefited from other techniques and some melody. Pretty cool song and i cna imagin it having appeal, jsut not for me, which is strange as i normally all for 80s style metal/AOR
The production was great, the recording and mix were spot on.
