So here's the crack. At college we had to write a james bond theme tune and our group worte apretty cool epic one. I was bored so i decided to change it slightly in places and try to make a full orchestra score. This is my take on our groups project if you will. Let me know what you think guys? Im quite proud of this one, its taken me ages and ages to orchestrate. EDIT: Yeah i missed the link lol, sory www.myspace.com/adamironsidemusic

-you created a score for this???
If so, I would be glad to look at it, if you post it... are you just going by ear??? I would suggest that you study alot of different composers for orchestration, it would really make your work stronger over the years... I think it would be key for you to get some scores in the style that you like...
Even the weaker film scoring type stuff can have some good orchestration to study, for the type of music you are writing (closer to popular music)... I think it would help alot, for getting some ideas about orchestration that can be applied to real life, as opposed to just midi.
Its dangerous to orchestrate for MIDI with no idea of how to balance things in real life (this is a very common mistake)... which, one day hurts the possibility of you scoring for a real group. (if that is a goal)
