I uploaded 50 FULL Shawn Lane gigs here!!!!!!!!!

Ok, i've kinda sneakily spent the last couple of months working on this every day (and many nights too).

I been converting, authoring, re-authoring, editing, tidying up, and uploading 50 FULL gigs and recordings of Shawn..... but.... i've done them in full Lossless WAV format, not crappy mp3, so the files are huge, and took forever to upload (i would work on editing them all through the day, and leave them uploading overnight, often two or more at a time, saving the links in the morning).
I'd say i've either fully authored, or at least tidied up/moved track markers, on maybe 90% of these... there were a few that didn't need any work done on them, but i've either authored or worked on most of these. So even if you already have any of these, these ones may be 'upgrades' of some kind.

There are also a few Lane DVD's i've re-authored and uploaded too.

As long as each of these is downloaded, or even partially downloaded (for a few seconds will do, then stop the download) once every 21 days, the links will not die.


Among all these, i've converted to audio (the ones that didn't already exist as audio) and uploaded every known "Powers of Ten Band" recording, except for two, one being the Ventura Theatre gig (which is the Official PoT:Live gig), and the other being the "PoT Band - Doc Ricketts, Monterey, CA. - 11th Feb 1993" gig, which i know exists as audio but i haven't been able to track it down yet.

I've actually never bothered posting quality ratings like other traders do... i always thought that what is "A" quality to me, might be seen as "B" quality to someone else, it's down to opinion. It's not like you can actually 'measure' the quality rating in some accurate way, otherwise i would do it.

However, it's a good idea that i should go through and make a note on each one whether they sound like Audience recordings (AUD), or Soundboard recordings (SBD).... i may do that.

Ahh, the famous NAMM 15th Jan 1993 Ibanez Jam....... well, i've been tempted sooo many times in the last few week to upload that one again, the longer version i posted on my old account (before it was removed)... but, it has Vai in it, and i didn't want to risk losing 170 videos this time if Vai has it taken down again, so i left it out. I was nearly even going to upload it and miss Vai's name out on it, and give it a funny name, but i though i can't risk losing 170 videos.

Well, you can easily download any of them again... i go through each one every few weeks downloading a few seconds of each to keep the links alive.... they ALL work right now.



Btw... nearly all those shows are Audio, only 2 of them are DVD's...... However, i just re-authored a new Lane dvd with menu, and spent all day yesterday uploading it (it's only a 20 minute gig, so even in full quality as a dvd it came in at less than 1 gig, so i managed to upload it as just 1 file, no need to split it into parts).

Nope, Kettil added all those... i said i didn't want to because it's under the control of Diane. I'm in the process (when i get spare friggin' time) of doing one that is independant of the Lane family (or should i say Diane). I'm really overdue with getting the new Lane site online, but with 2 really young kids (and one older), it's hard to get time for anything lately.

If it's one of the dvd's you've downloaded, then to burn them to disc you'll need a program like "Nero".... otherwise if you just want to watch dvd files on your computer without having to burn them to disc you can use "VLC Media Player" (which plays just about anything).
