Doing some research, I found this: Dean MAB1 Michael Angelo Batio Signature Armor Flame Guitar with Case + Dean MAB1 Armorflame The Dean Michael Angelo Batio Signature Armor Flame Guitar MAB-1 has one of the most insane paint jobs of any guitar of all time! Beyond the sheer beauty of this amazing fast shredder guitar the Dean MAB1 is one of the most functional shredder guitars we've ever played! Seriously, Michael Angelo Batio is at minimum the Godfather of Shred and the Master of Speed Metal, so why wouldn't you want what he plays if you want to play fast? There is a reason Michael Angelo is known for his "Hands without Shadows" and the Dean MAB-1 certainly helps. This guitar has an unfinished maple neck with an ultra fast ebony fretboard. In addition to the fast playability this guitar cuts no corners with an Original Floyd Rose® bridge and EMG pickups. If you are looking for a fast guitar that looks amazing, this is it. In our opinion there is not a better balance of playability and beauty on the market! Note: This guitar also includes the matching hard shell guitar case. www.beyondeleven.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=Dean%2DMAB1%2DMichael%2DAngelo%2DBatio&e=YSave $199.01! Don't forget me at Christmas ;D PS, Steve P., if you're reading this, the bar's been lowered ;D

I mean you easily notice when people exaggerating. Todd Duane does reviews on HC so it's not a bad place, you only need to be critical when reading it.

MF is no more credible than HC when it comes to reviews. Besides, there are lots of reviews on HC that make me crack up. Which makes me visit there often.

I read some reviews on MF yesterday after reading this post and I don't think it's any better there, sure maybe a little better quality of the reviews but it's still up to the reader to decide, as always. Yes I agree HC can be really funny. Some people doesn't even know what they're talking about.

That sonds like the info from the prototype guitar.
The factory in Japan were producing sub-par instruments by Dean's standard so they moved to a factory in Korea (south i assume) whihc do produce to their standard.
The MAB AF-1 guitar has an EBONY board, not rosweood. The prototype had rosewood but the proper one is ebony boarded.
