After a lot of consideration i have decided that i want to offer MAB forum members a very special offer on Kaye guitars
Since I have Honduran mahogany stocked for both necks and bodies (as well as ebony for fingerboards) i am willing to build 2 guitars with these specs
6 strings oil finish fixed bridge (graph tech saddles and wooden frame) Mahogany neck (either with maple or wenge stringers) Fretboard binding scarf detail Sperzel locking tuners Pickups of choice (that cost is not factored in) and side dots (front dots too if you want them) either set or bolt on neck
for a grand total of
$650
however this doesn't cover the cost of pickups, shipping, and the case; i could also do a Floyd rose but that would be an additional cost
EDIT: the guitar can also be of original design and possibly differnt wood, being has they havent been built yet
i will only be accepting the first two offers, bu i thought i would extend the offer to you guys since i would rather see a guitar go to you than someone less appreciative at a guitar trader or other guitar shop

Don't get your hopes up yet, but is this offer continuous (providing you don't and haven't already sold 2- hopefully you have) or only until a specific date? In the summer, I'm gonna sell my RG1550 and get a hardtail/string-thru bridged guitar like the PGM301. Unfortunately the PGM301 is £700 ($994) without the change of pickups plus it's basswood and a bolt-on. It's all dependant on whether I actually sell my guitar for what I think it's worth (people aren't buying too much nowadays) but I may genuinely want to go ahead with it since I have another guitar I can use for the few months it takes to build. I've estimated it'd be $1,036 for my specs, case ($100?) and $80 shipping (though I have no clue how much shipping will cost. ). But again, I don't want to get your hopes up. People aren't buying much atm. I'd much rather have a handmade all mahogany set-neck than a basswood production guitar for similar price needless to say.

Well, I can tell you... that shipping from where I am at... about mid country, to Scotland is 230 USD. Here is a link to calculate shipping charges. www.theupsstore.com/qcc/qcc.asp

Ahh okay then. I have usually gotten most of my stuff that I order threw UPS... so I figured they had the best rate, haha
