I may have asked this, but out of all the PODs out there, which is the best overall? The majority of my playing is practicing, gigging, and recording(guess thats about it, isn't it) I have a trade offer for an XT Live. I'm trading a delay/looper. I don't know what to do.

I like them all but the newest one, the x3 has the most features and capabilities. It also has vocal preamp models and bass amp models so you can record vocals & bass parts through it as well which may be useful to you.
Personally I have both the 2.0 and the Pod XT and like them both a lot. The XT Live is a great piece of gear which I owned as well but sold as I wasn't playing live much and already had an XT regular. As I said in the other Line 6 thread above , Chris Caffery from Trans-Siberian Orchestra used the XT Live as his only piece of gear for their huge Christmas tours they did.
What kind of sound are you trying to create?

Actually the HD pod's are the latest ones Yeah you're right, I haven't gotten a chance to really check out the HD yet, but I've read about it on the website. How is it?

I bought the HD 500 a few weeks ago. IMO it's not worth the money if u already have an XT or X3. The HD pods are for a more commercial audience, meaning it's more hendrix, basic rock and new metal. They tried to make this pod more for live use, and thats the problem, the pods should be for recording only! It sounds a bit harsh and pumped up. I'm selling mine and keeping the X3. Here is a tone i made for the ibanez universe. line6.com/customtone/tone/215548/
