I'm from Germany, so sorry for my bad English. But I will try my best
Michael, I saw you on the Musikmesse 2014 (it was a great show besides
) using an Ibanez TS-9. On your homepage there's also the TS-9 listed, the T-Rex isn't listed there anymore.
My question to you is:
Why don't you use your Signature T-Rex anymore?
I remember an interview back in the days, where you said something like "My Signature OD is like a TS-9 on the top frequencies and a BETTER TS-9 on the low frequencies"
So it makes no sense to me
I, personally, have both pedals. A TS-9, your Signature OD, and a Maxon 808.
I would say every pedal is great, some do the other things better (Boosting a Cleanchannel or boosting a Highgain-Solo for example) than the others etc etc.
So I have reasons to use the TS-9 in some Situations, and I have reasons to use the MAB OD in other situations.
But what's YOUR Reason of switching from the T-Rex to the Tubescreamer?
Do you still use the T-Rex in the studio or is it all Tubescreamer, live and in studio?
I hope my English isn't too bad to understand, but I'm confident
