I don't think a CD would be a very good idea. Purely becuse the double guitar is a thing thats most effective in his Live playing. If he were to relese a CD you wouldn't know which things where played on which neck. On the other hand a Live DVD which is coming out later this year is a good idea!

I agree, the double axe is a technique which is a key factor for live playing a few drops of his double axe material would be good but not a whole album

Just because they dont think a whole cd of it would be good doesnt mean they are not intersested. Anyway, I have about four or five 30 second to a minute clips of him preforming his double guitar. Just PM me if you want them.

I agree that it would be a little like putting together a CD compilation of Mike's under-over hand technique. 99% of the magic would be gone without seeing him live and I don't think it would sound all that good

If you Haven't tryed at lease that much "Luke" then you really don't know what your writing about, do you? Compton why is my name in quote marks? It is infact my name you know. An i really don't know what i'm talking about? hmm...if you understood what i said and botherd to read it properly let me explain again...If he was to play his double guitar on a CD you wouldn't know which parts of the song where played on which neck (left/right) therefore it would sound the same. The only way i could see it working is if he had a song on a CD an he said "this song i played purely left handed"

Compton... Neither Luke or blackorchidx were attacking You, they just don't think that the idea is good for some reasons that Luke pointed out. It's nice that a fellow fan is trying to keep MABs music alive and we all appiciate that. What we don't appiciate is when people become offensive against members with different oppinions. So Please, behave Yourself. THX. If You don't none of us would give a flying f*ck about Your work, but if You do I would recommend that if people has bootlegs with MAB playing the double should send it to You with info about where and when. Then we can see (I mean hear) how it ends up. So quit being a prick, but keep being a fan

No bootlegs are to be made by anyone. I know that Compton is a fan and friend of Michael's and is just trying to put these clips together on one bootleg for safe keeping by fans. However as always happens, we will eventually see it for sale on ebay by somebody else, looking to make cash off of Michael's hard work. We will not approve or promote any bootleg CD/DVD that is created. No exceptions on that!

There is no need for an audio CD recording of the double. Since it is for live appearances only.
You wouldn't be able to tell on an audio recording if it's a double guitar or 2 single guitars.
That's why it will be nice to have Dean's DVD to highlight the double guitar.
