Yeah but actually a don't like the MAN but is ART but y prefer Michael Angelo because he is here for is fan. The only song I like from Michael are The finish Line, Prog, No Boundaries and Rain Forest. If you consider that I like all the song Yngwie written so far you will understand why I rather like Yngwie Malmsteen.

Yeah i was joking when i said about him not speaking to fans i'm sure he's a great guy. I also love his music because of its heavy classical influence. But personaly i prefer Michael but its all personal opinion.

But there is one thing I think is sad in a lot of Michael fan. Some of them love Micheal's music because its fast, not becaus it is melodious and damn good.

Seems like the fans (at least here on the board) enjoys more than his speed.

Happy to ear it because a lot of my friends think he is only fast and not a good composer. But he is as great to compose as he is to play guitar.

come on guys, you gotta say something about John McLaughlin! I mean he was the first shredder in my opinion. And yes, till the die I die I will think Steve Vai in my mind as the most accomplished electric guitarist ever.

And yes, till the die I die I will think Steve Vai in my mind as the most accomplished electric guitarist ever. I can be all over the board as to what I enjoy in guitarists.. These are the ones I have seen live: For the schredders - you have MAB and Tony Macalpine (check out Tony on the keys as well as the guitar) note: I have seen Malmsteen when he was with Alcatrazz - didn't do much for me. Big names - EVH, Clapton, SRV (saw him the night before he died) & Alex Lifeston. Prog - Steven Ruthery (Marillion) & Steve Hacket. Ones I have not seen live: Hendrix, Gilmore, Page, Santana, Alvin Lee (ten year after), Slash & Rhandy Rhodes

Seems like the fans (at least here on the board) enjoys more than his speed. Michael has a good foundation musicly... He realizes you can't play mach 5 with his hair on fire through the entire song. He provies a good musical foundation for the song and for singers and other instraments to play with and around. He then is free to insert amaizing fills and unbeliviable solos that provide contrast to the rest of the music. Most singers can't sing at fast tempo's ***erson (think the trouper) and Meatloaf pull off high tempo singing better than most. But no one could sing anyware close to MAB's full tilt. For me it takes more than just the speed to make a good song. IMHO
