Do you guys use your whammy bar to sustain notes, to get different effects, to play harmonics, to make the guitar sounds like an slide, to play arabic sound, what is the main purposes of your whammy bar ?

Main purpose?? Bang it ;D Well, i love divebombs and that stuff, but also dipping surstained chords. And manic vibrato

Wild Vibrato, Dive Bombing etc and if your Steve Vai then push it till the point it almost breaks

I used to use it all of the time, but now I don't even bother putting the bar in. It doesn't excite me like it used to!

I like to use it to create an atmospherical kind of effect. That is, I like to "soften up" note transitions with it for a dreamy effect, or I use it to get those "in between" pitches - quarter tones (and smaller!) I love the whammy bar and pedal as well! Ivan
