Michael Batio, I own both of your dvds and have mastered them both, people even refer to me as Nick batio even thuogh i know im never going to be as good as you. You should consider making an instructional video for your song "Prog". I love the song and thousands of others would love to learn it also yet no one is good enough to learn it and tab it. Just an idea sleep on it or something and tell me what you think.

i think you could play No Boundaries, anything is possible it you try. I found it best to learn the whole song so i knew every note then practice diffrent bits to get it up to speed, and as for prog an instructional DVD for that song would be very vey cool! i already know some random bits from the song i.e the intro and some or the arpeggios and one of the alternate picking sequences.

Yeah I'm sure I could learn it But I don't like to look at tabs..So it would take me 100 hours for the first 20 seconds lol..BC I like to figure out stuff on my own =)..

I ordered both videos last month and have mastered both (25 year player ). I also sequenced the music in no boundaries and ran it through cubase with some good VST instruments so I could play it with an authentic backing track. I too would also like to get some more of his stuff. I really would like to learn the Time traveler solo. I have tried to slow it down to pick out the notes but am still (even at half speed) having trouble making them out. I really like the robotic sound in the solos.

Prog is an amzing song, a mate of mine sent me a video of michael playing it a few days ago, ive no idea where he got it but the first minuit is michael talking about different modes and stuff, when i slowed it down it was possible to see the frets michael was playing but it would take me ages to tab it, however, if you want, i can do a powertab version of it over the next few weeks? I cant gurantee it will be perfect as i cannot play michales stuff (ive onyl been playing aboutn fourteen months) but i can go by that video?

Sorry, looks like i won't be doing a tab i dont think. I jsut had a quick go and it's almost impossible, the camera is not zoomed in far enough to see which frets he is playing and if i zoom in it all goes too blurry, anyone have any suggestions?

The video your talking about is a clip taken from Michaels 'Jam with Angelo' video which is avalible from his site which contains some of the lead parts and the rhythem from the songs such as 'Prog' 'The Finish Line and 'China'
