Hey all! I recently uploaded my first two guitar videos to YouTube. I covered Symphony of Destruction and Enter Sandman. Here is my profile URL: www.youtube.com/kevlarbradPlease watch them and give me some feedback! I'd be especially honored if Mr. Batio would watch them! Thanks, Brad...

Looks like you haven't played for very long? Anyway, that's solid. I suggest get your rhythm playing up so that you can play stuff like Master of Puppets or Blackened easily (they're not easy if you're downpicking through the whole song) and simultaneously start doing basic stuff for alternate picking like chromatics and Paul Gilbert style exercises. If you're interested in shredding in the future.

For instance the phrasing of the very first riff (normally played clean) in enter sandman. Also the main sandman riff, sounds quite static, so i think you want to get some more energy into it and really get the riffs grunting if that makes any sense to you dude!

Thanks, everyone. I've been playing for a little more than 7 years, though I usually play better than that, I just get a bit nervous on video. I've been practicing a lot since I recorded those and I think I'm getting better, but I guess that's a matter of opinion.

I'm learning shred guitar and speed techniques at the moment, so maybe I'll record some of my licks. If I do, I'll post them here and probably PM M.A.B.
I'm glad to actually get feedback from people other than relatives, thanks everybody!

take a re-look at your enter sandman video. At the bridge you still play the main riff.
it should be somethig witch fret 2 on the e string.

Yeah, that's not a great video. I've been thinking of redoing it (unfortunately, I need a new set of strings.)

welcome kgbrad, checked out your sandman vid. you got the structure down. a flub now and again but no one's perfect. keep chipping away at it,and you'll have it solos and all. this place is great for players to come. everyone here is nice and gives constructive critism.

Thanks Blotto911 and Dragoncure. I'll keep practicing it. Unfortunately, I've been learning new techniques and licks lately, thus preventing me from getting better at actual songs
