I was woken up at 4:00am this morning by a 4.3 earthqake located about 20 miles from my home. Felt like the house was on a raft in a pool... you could feel the wave moving through the house. An earthquake in northern Illinois? What the heck is going on?

Strange, because I too felt a (mild) quake, but in the afternoon.
.......but then again, I live on a fault line XD

Schools are still open and everyone is at work. We laugh at anything less than two feet!

Slept right through it! It's the lead-story on the local News' too. They said some people initially thought a snow-plow drove into someone's home!

That is crazy! You wouldn't normally think of that area having earthquakes. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think earthquakes and the US is CA.

really weird, has anybody researched HAARP?..im suspicious of it causing earthquakes, have been for the past year but only recently have people started to blame or suspect it to cause earthquakes..its really really ***ed up if true and needs to be shut down
