Hi Guys,
Usually skeptical of this stuff but I got myself a lockerz account after watching a lot of legitimate videos on youtube.
Lockerz is one of the few companies on the internet that actually gives away legit prizes like macbooks, ipods, t-shirts etc when you earn points by logging in every day and doing small easy games/watching videos etc.
I got 1800 points since I started and am saving to see if I can get a Macbook for free. To show whats possible, 1000 points would get me a Nintendo Wii for instance.
Anyhow, it is on private invite at the moment so if anyone wants to join up PM me with your email address and i'll gladly send you an invite.

How long did it take to get those 1800 points? Not that my time is actually worth anything being in college and all; I was just curious.

You can do pretty well if you grind away at it. I spent most of an evening getting everything watched. The best thing to do is get 20 of your friends to join as well, and then you get double points for everything you do. Of course, I havent personally received anything yet, but if you look at the youtube videos plenty of people have reporting great things.
Bottom line is nobody can lose anything from doing it especially if you are having a boring day at work or college ;D

Sounds interesting, what other type of stuff can you win?

I researched it a little, and it's not as sweet as I originally thought. I was a little wary when every prize was out of stock, so I looked it up, and apparently you can only redeem points once a month. Here's the kicker-you don't know when that time will be! So basically you have to sit on the website all day, everyday, waiting to redeem your points, and if you are lucky enough to be on when the redemption happens, who knows if you'll even get the prize you want, or anything at all? Sadly, it's not as simple as getting points and redeeming for prizes

Ah, Mr Tepes- as long as you keep your ear to the ground on their facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/LOCKERZ/80976158596), they give a pretty good indication apparently. Also- check this mate, its the countdown to restock prediction: lockerzshare.in/giftcountdown/ Sounds interesting, what other type of stuff can you win? I'm not a techno freak but Me + Free = Oui. Lots of stuff Steve, starting at earphones, through to playstation games, xboxes, ps3's, macbooks. Of course, there are no guarantees. I'd think of this site as a privilege rather than a right. Good luck!

Do you need to watch the whole video. For example- can I click on a vid, let it run for 30 secs and search for something else and repeat the process?
Also, can you transfer your points to someone else? (Since I'm not really online that much nowadays so if I dont want to continue colecting points, can I give them to you?)

You don't have to "watch" anything... I just click on the next vid and let it play while I do something else. Almost up to 200 and just signed up yesterday. And no, ya can't transfer points.

Naturally, I wouldn't actually watch anything I wasn't interested in, but I meant do you have to let a 3-minute vid (for example) run to the end and then watch another vid or can you interrupt it? Is it a conveyor belt system or a system like You Tube? Must admit, I didn't think you could. It still sounds worthwhile considering it's free. ---- @ Kev: I might have to take up your offer.

Yeah you gotta let it play until the end then type in two randomly generated words to get your points. You'll get the hang of it pretty quickly... I'm up to 250ptz now and just qualified for the upcoming redemption. I'm saving my points though. Guess I'll get a Wii next month. ;D

2024 PTZ so far now, looks like there is a redemption at some point today. My sister is going to try for some ear phones as she is up to about 700ptz, so we'll see what happens!

Yeah I'm almost to 300 myself. The redemption was a couple hours ago and it only lasted 50 minutes. They had some really cool stuff they don't show in the standard redemption window, but I'm still saving up.

Yep, it happend at 11:50pm it seems (about 7pm Reston time?)- we found out at 0:00, pretty much 5-10 minutes after and there was still stuff left like $500 paypal cash. I think all the consoles had gone by then though, although there were plenty of games and tonnes of other random stuff! By about 00:10 almost everything worth having had gone completely.
