I'd say my single biggest problem with practicing at the moment is the chair I sit on. All I have in the house which is usable is a big office style chair which starts to cause aches after an hour or so.
What do you guys use when you practice? Any tips?
I was thinking of buying a high quality drum throne or similar, I could obviously practice alot more if I didn't start to get pain about an hour or so in to my routine.

I just sit on my bed and play.

Is it your back that hurts? Maybe it's your posture? Or maybe you just need something more cushie? I haven't had any problems throughout the years and I've sat on everything from beds to computer chairs. Oh looky here's my chair now!

I suppose it could be posture. Although I sit in classical position I tend to crane/lean towards my fretting hand when I practice ie my back isn't straight. The seat I use is pretty hard too, hence why I thought it would be a good idea to use a drum throne to practice, comfort wise.
Maybe I just need a more cushty office chair.
