I have a monster "rock" cable too. It's great but expensive.
George L's 225 cable is also good and not as expensive.
Stay away from Planet Waves "low-end" cables. They *** ass and are guaranteed to stop working within a week. Lol.

The George L's 255's are more expensive than Monster. And yes, I will definitely agree with the Planet Waves comment. Their higher end stuff is great but more expensive than Monster, but their lower end cables ARE pure crap.

Monster cables are great, and have a life time guarantee. If they ever malfunction or break for any reason you can exchange them at any music store, no questions asked. Last year I had a mishap where something fell and somehow severed the cable, got a replacement at guitar center without a problem.
Not only that, but they are great cables and do not hum or cause any feedback and they have a good solid connection. Way better than any cables you might get stock with your instruments/amps.

Monster cables are good, but they are an evil company as some of you may know (if you remember the blue jean cable stuff). I discovered elixir cables deliver the highest quality of signal in my market segment. I did a tone test, between the fender cable and the elixir cable and there was a clear difference.
