For my birthday later this month, my mom has offered me a 500 dollar gift consisting of anything. Naturally, I want gear. What should I get.
Some things I'm considering:
Some sort of Line 6 Pod, if I can figure out which is best. Digitech Brian May pedal A delay pedal An EQ pedal Tone Zone and Air Zone for my ML
Any overall cool or helpful things you can think of?

Oh man, don't go slappin' a Tone/Air Zone in a mahogany guitar. It'll get really muddy... Many people have found this out.
As for the rest, get what ever ya dig! But don't you have a Vypyr amp? It seems kind of redundant to get another effects modeler to put in front of it. I'd sell it, get a cool little tube combo and then get a POD. Get some killer tones. But that's just me.
Happy early birthday!

Thanks for your advice on the Dimarzios! I will keep looking. As for the Vypyr, I don't use it. I found that when you roll some of the volume of your guitar, it cuts the notes out rather quickly. I really want a Pod, I just can't figure out which to get.

I like to invest in vintage equ. It doesn't decrease in value and we all know the best stuff came out of the 80,s. And those new Ipads can be converted into a take anywhere studio, they even have a amp emulaitor app thats not to bad
