A guitar, like an automobile, needs service from time to time - from toggle switches to replacement parts on Floyd Rose trems. If you need a part for your car or the oil changed, you usually contact the place where you purchased it, or go to a mechanic. The same goes with guitars. I have a lot of signature guitars on the market, in stores all over the world. I would appreciate you contacting the place where you purchased the guitar from instead of posting on this forum. I have over 106 guitars, made from over a dozen different guitar manufacturers. Virtually ALL OF THEM have needed service from time to time. This includes - Gibson, Fender, Dean, Ibanez, etc... yes, ALL OF THEM ;D Again, please contact the store (or mail order company) that you purchased the guitar from. Dean Guitars has amazing customer service and any store that carries Dean Guitars usually has at least one excellent technician that can help you. Thank you. I am very sorry for any inconvenience.

Wow, I was gonna see if anyone replied to my topic earlier. Instead, it gets replaced by none other than the legend himself, with advice.......awesome! I guess I should have seen this happening to my guitar, especially since I play it like no tomorrow. Anyway, thanks for the advice MAB. I hope I can get it fixed as soon as possible and will continue to practice until my hands fall off. Again, thanks.

I think that if you also keep it clean and free of dust it helps too. There are some good tech in your area I have an in-law that lives in kalamazoo, if your close I can get you the techs number if you want. and if it's a Dean they will get you hooked up whit whatever you need, I can see why MAB loves them so much, great people, even better guitars and customer service.

I'd hate to be a wise-acre, but what if you bought your guitar online? I called Dean about a whammy hardware resonance problem. Although the rep was very polite, he didn't offer me any solutions. I'm fairly mechanically inclined so I figured out the problem and solution myself, but I really would have appreciated more support. However, Dean's service department is way more pleasant than Washburn's.
