These are my canidates pretty much. Keep in mind I have small hands and like a small neck,....I don't care for a big C-shaped ,..like a les paul neck.
Also which has the best pickups in this price range....which would be more stageworthy.
I am willing to shell out maybe 600,...but I'm kind of on a tight budget,.....

Find a good old used Ibby RG550; best bang for your buck guitar out there. $300-$400
But, for your poll, I chose the Jackson DK2... They're pretty friggin' sweet. Love the the compound radius neck and they come with some nice Duncans (even if you don't like the Duncans, you could easily trade/sell them straight away for something you'd like more). I prefer the DK2M though.

A Jackson or an Ibanez are probably the most trustworthy but I'd go with a fender stratocaster for what your looking for. You may need new pick ups though.
