Hi there I just bought the mab3 signature guitar,
and I just want to share something about this when I got it,
basically I have problems with this guitar which is not a good start, just to give you some information ,Im from the Philippines
and before I did not thought that I would find a mab 3 guitar here. There are plenty of dean guitars here, all made in china
and signature guitar like mab is rare,so when I saw one I
immediately bought it,The store owner said its the last stock, before he have like 3 mab guitars and already sold,he have other dean guitars on his store like ml's and flying v's
and also dave mustaine guitar. So I went to buy this guitar,
and I did take a look at it,What I did not notice is that the
neck is misaligned I just noticed it when I changed the strings at home, the the high e strings is falling off the fret board ,to fix this I stuck a piece of rubber in the neck joint so it will be aligned,
,I also noticed the pole piece(studs) or pivot screws whatever you call it, where the floyd rose is floating to
is not also aligned properly.another thing is that the trust rod is
not straight ,its slanted, and I dont know how did they built this thing but how can you build a guitar with a slanted truss rod.
that could be a very bad wood working skills, and ofcourse
the truss rod dont work cause its slanted,I could not also align the floyd rose properly so that its flat when you tune it,
the string clamp is built too low and underneath is I found a
like a sand paper that is inserted ,dont know what its for I guess to keep it higher, the neck mounting screw ,only one screw works cause somehow they cracked the maple neck part when they mounted the screws, all of these defects you cant basically see it
until you unscrew everything, thats what i did not saw on the store..right now I can still able to play it but Im just surprised at this thing cause I saw a sticker on the back side that says inspected and adjusted in the usa..Im not ranting by the way I just want to share my experience, over all I will still keep this guitar though...
