I will be watching. It will be awesome to see a live clinic like this. It is a great idea! The sale is awesome too... but, still having hard times. But, hoping a guys luck can change and maybe I will win the guitar. Been wanting a MAB for a long time. Just been afraid to jump into a company IDK at all without being able to test drive. I am over it now and would be happy to have anything... either way thou a Dean will be my next guitar an MAB more specifically... but if I won this I would be in heaven.. one happy man. Sure hoping so! Trust me when I say I am over the trading... swapping and so on. It is easier to trade out pups, trems and so on then re buy whole new guitars, and having something and upgrading as you can afford it is better then having nothing MAB's Traditions where awesome don't know why I was so hesitant with Dean... but like I said I am over it. If I win this it will be a permanent part of my life Have fun at the clinic tonight, MAB. I guess in a way I will see you there

Watching now, MAB is playing Rain Forest, it's reminiscent of a heavier early Al Dimeola! That scream he did at the end of the song was so cool!

Thank you Michael for performing this clinic for us tonight! It was really a wonderful show. Your playing was tremendous and I found your Q&A sessions to be fascinating as well! It was sad to hear what you said about having your own company that was doing well for 20 years and then within 2 years it was dead because of the internet. You mentioned the internet opening some doors and closing other doors. I wish I had seen the whole clinic but I only found out about it when it was about half over.
Judging from what I saw, in my humble opinion, you should use the internet to promote a Michael Angelo Batio Pay Per View for television. If you could get together with a production company that does pay per views, I can imagine a performance something like what you did tonight but in a venue where you could play in front of a good number of people, have pyrotechnics and anything else you can think of to make it the best, most exciting show you can think of, and have the pay per view sell for maybe $35. If it does well maybe you could do a PPV every year or even a couple PPVs a year. I say this because as I was watching the clinic I thought to myself how I would have gladly paid to see the whole clinic and I bet I'm not the only one who was thinking how amazing it was that we were getting to see this for free! Thank you Michael!

That was awesome! Thanks to GoDpsMusic and MAB! It was the next best thing to being there. It was hard to believe it was 2hrs. Felt like 15 mins! MAB is an amazing showman! I was captivated the whole time! I couldn't imagine how cool it would have been to actually have been there! Amazing and just wow! I actually won some free swag, too! So that is bonus!

That was a great show last night, I loved seeing the silver double guitar, that was quite a treat. I'm glad MAB did a live stream(and for free at that =D) because I haven't been able to go see him since the first time I saw him in 2008. Although I couldn't be there in person it was still such a great show. He also announced some people I don't think were previously mentioned to guest solo on the CD am I right? I can't remember there names, but they were a couple of Italian guitarists and some jazz artist perhaps? I can't remember, oh well...anyways the show was great, I saw BKW and Eric in the chat box but I didn't want to leave the page and sign up to talk, I doubt they'd recognize me anyway =P on the show, perhaps this might be a future means of doing concerts?

Thanks for watching! I had a great time doing that clinic. Regarding my business. The biggest issues are - CDs and DVDs are now available in digital format on line at a much cheaper cost, that is, if people will even pay for them. But, everything I have ever recorded or filmed is available free on line and there is nothing I can do to stop it at this time. It is not just hurting me, but the entire music business and film industry as well. But, that will not stop me from making new records!

It is not just hurting me, but the entire music business and film industry as well. But, that will not stop me from making new records! I think this is very true, but also an unstoppable problem in terms of distribution control without impeding on individual rights. I'm guilty of downloading music online, and I'm sure most people are. Honestly though I cannot download your music, I have too much respect for you to do that. The same goes for some artists but those are a handful of musicians at best. I think that your kickstarter program was a great way to get around downloading's biggest issue and allowing you to fund your newest album. I only bought the digital download and physical copy package because that's all I can afford at the moment, but at least I could do that much. I think this should be a new venture for solo artists like yourself to promote your music and give people the opportunity to interact with your work more as well as feel proud that they helped fund a project. Jeff Loomis and Keith Merrow have announced a kickstarter program just a week ago for a new album project they'd like to work on, which I will be supporting as well. If more artists, especially bands like Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Scale The Summit, even solo artists such as yourself, continue down this path I believe that you will profit more from this than having to go through a record company, selling merchandise, etc. etc. to get by in the music industry. That's just my take on the matter at least, I hope to see more people do this in the future because it's cool to be able to fund a project and interact with your favorite musicians even in a miniscule way. Aside from all that, thanks again for putting on a show via live stream, me and my dad both really enjoyed the double guitar solo!

Just checked the MAB event calendar and another live stream guitar clinic is scheduled for June 5th. It says it starts at 6.00pm and ends at 10.00pm. The one posted on you tube last year was only about 2 hours.Do you think it will be streamed live for 4 hours? Is he actually going to be doing the clinic for 4 hours? It will be 2.00 am in the morning here in the UK and I may stay up and watch this if i can. Does anyone plan on being there at the music store?
