I am just curious on what it was that made Michael take up guitar? what was it that inspired him to practice everyday for as long as 12hours on the weakends? What i am basically asking is what was it that made Micahael to not give up and keep at guitar no matter what.

He wanted to do it and believed he could do it so he went and done it or something

I cannot answer that question for him but i think it is probably by the same feelings you had when you grabbed yours, you know we all come to this earth with some purposes and god gave us some gift, some of uscan bea good Eng., Doctors etc and he gift was bean amazing guitar player i hope you can do it too man

Like Ernesto said, he can't answer that for Michael and I can't either but I think it was similar to what I feel when I'm practicing. I pick up the guitar, do a few warmup exercises and start playing and practicing and improoving my chops with a metronome and eventhough I might be playing the same phrase over and over again I feel good because I know I'm improoving myself, and that's what keeps me to the guitar and the same as Michael has said a few times that he wanted to be the best guitarist he could be, that's exactly what I'm aiming for too and I intend to acheaving that goal.
