hey mike, do you or did you ever practice in front of a mirror? I've heard it helps you to relax when you practice. one more thing, is it bad to wet your hands after practicing? if so, how long should you rest before it is safe to do so?

I've tried, but it is confusing.
What the hell does anything have to do with wetting your hand?

The wet hands thing has to do with developing callouses on your fingers I guess.

practicing in front of a mirror is great. I play classical guitar and I'm encouraged to do it all the time! Especially for viewing the right hand.

I've tried, but it is confusing. What the hell does anything have to do with wetting your hand? someone told me that wetting your tired hands with tap water after practices causes arthritis... and that it is advisable to use luke warm water or alcohol instead. also, it is believed to cause the trembling of hands, i duno what they call it...
