Ok I think I got it.Michael rig goes like this I hope. Marshall JCM 800 Marshall 1960 Cab With Vintage 30's Dean Hardtails?(Questionable because Nitro was done in 1998 and in his videos during this time he used Washburns and random guitars including his Rocket guitars) Reverb? Digital Delay Phaser(On Acoustics?Track 3) Can anyone confirm this setup? Michael also said his JCM's were modded does anyone know by who?Or what the mod's were?

I don't know how it was modded, but I think it was Doug Marks JCM800 modded by Lee Jackson.

Mesa usally only gets that heavy espically when I made my computer go surround sound and bass plus.I only heard Zakk's JCM which was close but not quite there and Van Halens which sounds like it's being beat.

Guitars: Wayne Charvels, BC Rich (Ironbird maybe more), I think Washburn was later, at least the endorsement. Delay 300-320 ms If You talk about Crazy Love from HWDWS I think: appegiated part: at least one eletric clean and one acoustic Maby more but no fx. "normal picked" part: Two acoustics no fx. I'm not sure but that what my ears tells me

Sorry Guys but when i have spoke to Michael he told me he mainly used JCM 900, now it is possible that he played the JCM 800 but before Nitro, with Holland he used to played JCM 900 , so probably to get out of the doubt we can ask him about the JCM 800, he used also Flanger.

i have an old marshall jcm 800 combo with el33s. im not too impressed with it, even when its cranked. is it worth hacking apart an amp like that to get it modded? everyone tells me not to, but 9 times out of 10 i wind up playing my fender champion 30 dsp, which actually isnt too bad.

or is it better to buy like a 100+ watt digital amp for a different sound. i am going to ask you what type of music you want to play what style ? ok if you want to have some versatiLity them you can have one of those amp that you can dial diff sounds and if you have the money well you can buy anything you want, ok none of the lattest Marshall are good for playing live not that they are bad but they don't sound ANYMORE LIKE THE OLD ONES with the exception of TSL'S ok if you want for practice and again what type of music you want to play those "CRATE they are cheap that have a very good distortion if you are behind the distortion but just for practice, now if you want something that can afford Peavey is still making good amps at a good price specially on ebay 5150 to me better than 5150II , Triple XXXsuper versatil amp( tube amp), very quiet and powefull, well there is lot of thing out there the thing is what are your needs, and again is a matter of taste and money
