Never tried them, and they don't really appeal to me (they don't come in pink ;D). But their SE models aren't that expensive and they are getting rave reviews. They come in Pink well the Pre-Factories did but you can still find some rare pink ones I wrote a request to this one dealer but I never got answered There lower end are ok at best I have a Santana one and I only really use it if I feel scared to take my real PRS's somewhere and it's ok but I don't perfer it if I put some new pickups I bet it would be amazing though. I can't believe I took my Dragon II's out of my one PRS for EMG's that later were deffective.Than I put in these Seymour Duncan 59 Model in the Bridge and the neck I was in Heaven and I found my voice although my one PRS I hate the color and paint job because I didn't know crap at the time and it was labeled wrong as Black Cherry and I ordered it and I got that dumb stain *** it doesn't even have a flame,10 top or quilt but I love it anyway because it's beautiful in it's own way, it's my voice, the tones to kill for with one pedal I'm satch with another I get any vintage tone I want and my own signature tone, and omg the list goes on it's a perfect PRS. My Custom 24 owns all espically de-tuned

I eprsonally don't think PRS's are any more overpriced than any other guitar manufacturer out there. The problem is that they seem to have no middle ground in guitars. They have the incredibly cheap SE series and then it just shoots right up to the Custom 22s etc. Sure they're overpriced, but I bet you'd find it difficult to find a guitar manufacturer whom doesn't have at least one range like this. It's not like the Dean Time Capsule series are put on sale for the exact amount they cost to build. These pricey PRSs are to a very high build quality, are made from very select woods, and made by the best in the business. If you don't want to pay that much, then you simply don't buy them, you look to the far east or somewhere else. But I really do wish they would have a mid-priced range of guitars for people who really don't want to break the bank like Fender do! I think Fender are one of the best guitar manufacturers for this, you can name any price-range and they'll have one for you. WELL PUT! *CLAPS*
