I've come to the final decision of a Soloist, but I've never played a SL1. I've heard that they are better than the SL2H. Can anybody give me any imput on this? Because maybe I could try one out. Thanks ;D

I've played both... I prefer the SL1, but the only difference between the SL1 and SL2H is the pickup setup... SL1 = S S H , SL2H = H H s=single coil pickup h=humbucker , order going from neck to bridge. Whichever you prefer of the two, I personally like the SSH 'range' better, I guess. Hope that helps.

depends on your pickup preference. I like both but ended up with the SL1

Something to consider. My newest Soloist came with 250k tone pots instead of the usual 500k, it was really dull until I changed it. I don't know why they're doing that.

they both are great guitars but I liked the single coil at the neck better so I got the SL1

Personally I'd be tempted to go SL2 and install a coil splitter:D
