Sounds as if the potentiometer inside might have come loose if it just keeps turning all the way around?? Can you still control the volume with it or is it totally broken?
If you pull the knob off (you can probably prise it off easily with a plectrum) does the pot still work as it should or does that turn all the way round too?

its all bust, several wirse have also come loose in the guitar RRRRR Ahhh, in that case I would just recommend giving it to a guitar tech to be fixed. Best thing to do really.

If Your guitar has scratchplate You'll need to remove the strings and the schratchpalte to fix the pot, if not there'll be a backplate wich makes it a lot easier to fix. You'll still need a good soldering iron and to know how to use it, if not take it to a tech.
Good Luck

That title was very misleading. I thought your guitar like broke in half or something

whenever a guitar breaks i just put on Hendrix at the monterey pop festival full blast go out in the yard and light my guitar on fire to really give the neighbors a reason to keep those restraining orders effective.
