LMAO, I was looking puzzled at that pic, scrolled down and saw this and nearly choked laughing ;D Bizzare looking thing, that is! I think the lack of a sound hole is what's making it look so weird

How on earth would you get your hand around that neck though!? I have major problems on a normal classical let alone an 8 string! My hands are too small I guess, but an 8 string? You'd have to have giant hands!

That's just impractical! Who on earth would have hands big enough to play that? Is it not one of those lap guitars that you lie down on your lap and play?

Well still haven't gotten the guitar yet. Should be this week. I am surprised it's taking this long. Oh and about the 8 string classical guitar how about a 10 string classical guitar I just saw an 11 string guitar today (Made by Hill guitars). It was some sort of proto/custom order, anyways, the top 4 strings werent on the fretboard- and they were tuned like a harp or whatnot, anyways its supposedly for lute music, and I would guess the 10 string is too, 8 could just be sweet- or Rusty Cooleys classical anyway.

Anyone here ever heard of elliot fisk? After hearing him I gain alot of respect for classical players. That guy could easily be one of the best metal players. But instead he sticks to what he likes and plays classical pieces like bach and paganini (spelling?). He's done some of the best paganini interpritations i've ever heard.

He plays classical w/ the attitude you'd expect from a metal player.
