Hey, I was playing a Maverick guitar this week and OMG they play amazinly! I dunno what it is about them but I just fell in love straight away. They play so well, and they are not that expensive. Has anyone else played one? and if yes what did you think of them. IMO I would say try them out if you are looking for a not so expensive guitar but that plays really well. I could just fly up and down the fret board with ease! and I really mean that. There is not many guitars that I can say that do that for me. I am defintly going to have a Maverick by the end of september when i have saved some money.

This is not a joke, but a friend pointed this out, and made me realise that there`s a chance that i may have spent more hours playing on a Maverick guitar than anyone on earth! Seriously! Last year i bought my second Maverick F1 (in blue), but the one i had before that (crappy red-ish colour), i practiced on 7 days a week, for about 16 or so hours a day on that Maverick F1, and i practiced that much on that guitar for nearly two and a half years! I only use my new Maverick F1 (in blue) to practice on the amp for up to 30 minutes a day now, and for the rest of the day`s practice (without the amp) i use a cheap `Stagg` guitar, because i don`t mind ruining that! ;D This is my newest Maverick F1 (i don`t have pics of my old one on my hard drive at the moment!) They are pretty darn easy to play! The thing i like most is that there are no knobs and rollers to get in the way of your picking hand! It has `roller`s` instead of knobs that stick out, and it has the selector switch nicely out of the way of your picking hand, but not too far! So for the first time (well actually, second time now) in my life i feel free to pick without my hand knocking into the knobs or switches! Willie Jordan

I like the colour and sparkly finnish on it too! I find it an easy guitar to play! It is about £499 for a Maverick F1 with floating trem, or if you get a Maverick F1 with a hard tail i think that is about £449. If you get one, post some pics or soundclips! Willie Jordan

I tried one a month ago or so, and it felt nice, but it was setup with very heavy string and it was tuned down an octave or something (well not quite, but very low indeed), so I couldn't really judge it.
